- Thermal break: for high insulation performance
- 46 - 64 mm: very slender sections
|
- Solidity: advanced technology for superior materials
- Certificated performance: open joint with decompression chamber
|
- Air, wind and water - the system for windows with weep and central gasket allows maximum performance values.
- the use of approved fittings and the structural strength of the sections and joints ensure perfect operation for the whole envisaged lifecycle of scheduled use (opening/closing, torsional stress and yield).
- Sound insulation - the presence of seals and rebate gaskets plus the possibility of fitting very thick glass allow the design acoustic values to be achieved.
- Thermal insulation - the special system for joining the steel shells without any thermal bridges results in heat transmission rates or U-values of up to 1.4 W/m2k

As a result of research and in-depth studies by the technical office, 2009 is seeing the introduction of an important new product for architecture and in particular for restoration engineering.
It is called OS2 and is a thermal break section for window and door frames in superior metals with a truly slender visible section of just 46 millimetres and 62 mm at the meeting stiles.
Window and door frames may now be made in Galvanised Steel, Stainless Steel, Cor-Ten Steel and Bronzofinestra offering aesthetic features that are ideal for restoration and repair work: double doors and windows with reduced visible parts of the frame and consequently providing a larger glazed area.
Highly refined and perfect for restoring the great historical architectural heritage of Europe, OS2 is the system that achieves high performance in terms of energy saving and sound insulation in compliance with today’s severe legal requirements.
