The building is a competition winning design by Richard Murphy Architects of Edinburgh. The building is 'L' shaped which grows out of the remains of an existing brick warehouse, incorporating galleries, cinemas, cafes, shops and offices.

The Corporate 2000 range was utilized throughout the centre, enhancing the illusion of space, allowing large expanses of glazing essential to the overall impression. Corporate 2000 was able to offer minimal sections for both internal and external windows.
